The Children's Museum

Our new favorite place this winter?

The Children's Museum in Rancho Cordova.

I really should buy a yearly pass, Mikenna loves it and asks to go every morning.

It's basically a bunch of 2-5 year old based science/hands-on experiences.

I'm excited to have a "learning" place to go where she can explore on her own and everything is made for kids her age.

She loves putting the golf balls on all the different ramps. 

And of course my water baby is drawn to the water area.

She had a blast with Kendal playing with the water toys.

Then there's my personal favorite, the art room.

There is a project each week and tons of art supplies on the tables for the kids to explore on their own. 

The best part... a huge window where all the kids can take turns painting, very cool.

I'm obsessed.

In my dream home, this will be in my art room.

I love watching her little mind work.

The grocery store area is awesome too.
There are shopping carts and baskets, play food on the shelves, scales to weigh their food, money, and cash registers.
Again, in my dream home, this will be in my kids' play room.

On another note, couldn't they be sisters?

Love those little blondies.
Such a fun day, nothing like going somewhere where the only focus is on your kiddo.
We will definitely be back again soon!
